This past Saturday SHREC had its first basic communication skills workshop, there were about 20 participants and the facilitator was Ms. Sonai Shah of Toastmasters International.
The basic communication skills workshop is set to continue this coming Saturday afternoon from 3.00 p.m. and another will be held on the 30th of February.
Overall, the workshop is intended to give participants skills in Public Speaking, more especially now that the Strathmore Student Council elections are set to take place, this workshop is a must attend for anyone who is serious about a leadership position.
