Blogger: So what are you going to do for clubs if you win this race?
Geoff: I plan to have an inter club sponsorship, meaning,we will have different clubs sponsoring each others events to enhance unity and diversity.
Blogger: So what clubs are you in?
Geoff: SBC,I have also been indirectly involved in SHREC.
Blogger: How?
Geoff: I have helped to author some of their proposals, I was involved in the arrangement of the basic communication skills workshop and generally I am a friend to very many SHREC members.
Blogger:What motivated you to run for the Students' Council?
Geoff: I have, typically, been leading behind the scenes in various capacities as opportunities arose, it was my feeling that I could now come up and serve the student fraternity in the most influential capacity so that I could make the most impact.
As Aristotle once said, part of the problem of refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. I think I am the best man for the job.
Blogger: Any final words?
Geoff: I think Strathmore is a great institution, with the capacity to grow even more, I hope all students would come up, use the opportunities they are given.It made me who I am today and the best way to give back to the university is to offer the best things I received back to them as a leader.
